Workshop Description:
This class will introduce native plant species that thrive in home landscape settings, with a focus on ecological value and design. Participants will learn how to plan and maintain a native plant garden that benefits wildlife while being resilient and beautiful.
Session Details:
- PowerPoint presentation featuring 40+ native wildflowers, shrubs, and small trees
- Discussion of growth habits, soil and light preferences, and wildlife benefits
- Integrated topics will include deer resistance, garden planning, and maintenance strategies
- Participants are encouraged to join the free Spring Farm Garden Tour on Sunday, August 10th from 1:00 -2:30 PM
