From Cashew – “What I love most and am grateful for is the silence on a nice sunny day or clear night. Our farm is pretty bustling most of the day. But there is a time at the end of the day when most of the humans are gone and we animals all can relax and take a breath and just be. Some days we have to process an awful lot of energy from the humans who come to visit and who work around us. When our human friends have problems, we feel it too. We try to help. Some days it is way more work than most of you are aware. But there is that moment when it is just us and the land and we regroup and feel peace and quiet and contentment. It happens every day. I am grateful for that feeling every time. And we then try to share that feeling with our human friends the next day. Life is truly good. Please don’t lose sight of that.”
