From Mia – “By far, the thing I am most grateful for is the sunshine. I just adore lying in a sun puddle. The trick is that I have to get there first before someone else grabs the best spot. But the great thing is that it always moves around so that everyone gets a chance. I love feeling the warmth go through my body and fill me up with comforting energy. It’s like getting a big hug from the sun. I also am fond of watching birds outside my porch. They are sometimes very busy and argue with each other a lot. But it must be hard to be a bird. They work hard for their food. We don’t need to do anything but wait for our food to come right to us. Although, sometimes the humans are a bit slower than I’d like. It’s ok, we have good people tending to our every need. I am very grateful to all of them.”
