From Gerry – “I live in a room with many cats, all of whom are very different. When I first came here I didn’t like many of them. But I discovered that it was my own attitude that was causing the problem. I had to learn to be a bit more tolerant of some of the nutty friends I have in here. Some of them just didn’t realize I needed a little more space than what they were giving me. But we learned about each other and figured it out. I have a home now. A space that I share with others with respect and tolerance. Well…. At least most of the time that is. Occasionally we do all get on each other’s nerves. My favorite thing to do is to welcome human visitors to my room. That is the absolute best and people really like to see me. I am very grateful for all of what I have.”
