From Betsy – “I am most grateful for uncomplicated days. You, as a human, may think … geez what could be so complicated for a chicken! But humans often don’t understand that they aren’t the only ones who have complex thinking. There can be very challenging times for chickens. I, for one, don’t like when there is a lot of fear or anxiety in the air. And right now, there is an awful lot of that around. I can speak for the wild animals as well. They feel it too. The world has a lot of agitation. And it plays out and spreads throughout the entire world. Birds are tuned in to all of that. And, so am I. I am very grateful that I live a very blessed life for a chicken. And I am grateful for that every moment of every day. I wish you humans could see that too for yourselves.”
