Jack (barn)

Jack was born in 2015. He and his two littermates were born to a feral cat in someone’s backyard. It took the person months to gain the trust of the kittens and when she finally did, she brought them in her house to socialize them. Jack and his brother Trevor came to live with us with a specific job in mind. We needed a pair of younger barn cats and were looking for cats that could live both inside and outside but also were savvy to the outdoors. Our barn cats are not typical barn cats but have a huge job to do here at the farm. Rodent patrol is a big deal and they are highly valued. At the same time, they also are treasured family members. Jack and Trevor fit the bill perfectly. They were later joined by Chloe and the dynamic threesome are in charge of the smaller of our two barns.
