Mister

Majestic Rain, or Mister as he is known, is a Standardbred gelding born in 1996. He came to the farm in late 2023 after his owner sadly passed away and he and his friend Bunny had nowhere else to go. Mister was a racehorse early in his life until a career ending fractures in both his front ankles landed him in need of a place to retire. Eventually, he ended up on a small hobby farm where he joined Bunny as they both led a life in retirement where they were loved for almost 20 years.

At this point in his life, being displaced in his senior years, there were few options for Mister and Bunny. We were able to say yes to bringing them to our sanctuary for the remainder of their lives. Mister requires special foot care to help him with his legs and other aches and pains from aging. He is a very affectionate and well mannered guy. And he is fully devoted to his friend Bunny.
