Freddie

Freddie is a Quarter Horse mix gelding, estimated to have been born in 1998. He came to the farm in August 2023 from a serious neglect situation. Besides being emaciated, Freddie also had a gaping wound on his cheek that went down to his jaw bone. He is still obviously recovering here but he is healing amazingly well. In just a short time, the wound has just about totally closed in and healed. Freddie is eating well and slowly but surely putting on weight.

Freddie is a sweetheart and is so grateful for everything we all do for him. He is very affectionate and cooperative in letting us help him. We look forward to seeing Freddie continue to blossom here. He will live out the rest of his life in our sanctuary. Freddie seems to understand he is home and he is greatly appreciative of everything.
