Cora is a mini-donkey mare estimated to have been born in 2010. She came to the farm in spring of 2018 with six other mini-donkeys who all came from an extreme neglect case. All of them were emaciated and had very bad overgrown and deformed feet. As Cora settled in and knew she was safe here with her other donkey friends, she began to unfold and we have been enjoying watching her true nature come through. At first, Cora seemed very confident but as she realized she could let her guard down and relax, she actually is one of the more quiet of the group. She prefers to be out of the mayhem of the younger donkeys and seems content to be paired up with Chico. She is a very sweet soul and doesn’t like being in the thick of things but prefers to do her own thing and watch from the sidelines. She seems to thoroughly enjoy her life and knowing she doesn’t have to worry abut things anymore.
“I am starting to get excited to be here and feel I am now starting my real mission in life. I have always known there was something better going to happen in my life. I have things I want to share with people and with my other friends. Even though I cannot see the details yet, I know I am exactly where I am supposed to be. That makes me excited!”
