Sheep – Minnie

Minnie is a sheep who arrived at the farm in 2018. Minnie came to us with a large hernia the occurred from lambing. The hernia is too big to repair and most likely will limit her life span. However, we cherish each and every day Minnie gets to spend with us. She is not in any pain and she lives her life otherwise normally. She is a pal to sheep friend Daisy and we are very grateful for that. Minnie is very shy but has started to come around more for treats and an occasional scratch on the head. Minnie has done much better over the years than anyone anticipated she would. We are thrilled to be able to give her the space she needs to be herself. Even though this hernia looks awful, she clearly has a high quality of life that she thoroughly enjoys!
