Sophie

Sophie was born in 2012 and arrived at the farm in 2022. Sophie was very ill and her person was loosing her home and could not take Sophie with her. She was in very poor condition and needed immediate medical help. We agreed to take her in our sanctuary as no home could be found for her. Sophie was immediately diagnosed with severe cystitis that had been long standing. She responded to treatment right away. However, we later found out that she also has early stage kidney disease and hyperthyroid disease.

Sophie is a sweetheart and has been through a lot in her life. But she is also a very opinionated senior cat. She is responding to her treatments and will be on medication for the rest of her life.
