Harry was born in 2009. He came to the farm later that year when he and 7 other cats were found by a good Samaritan being dumped out of a truck in boxes on the side of a road. Harry had a condition with his eyes where his eyelashes grew into his eyes causing lots of pain. We sent him for surgery which took care of the condition other than we still have to treat his eyes periodically with ointment. Harry was adopted out but returned to us because he hid in his new home all of the time. The thing is that Harry is an absolutely wonderful, easy going, sweet cat. But he is also quite shy and needs a lot of time to adjust to new situations. He is quite happy living here in his colony of cat friends where he is totally settled in with his cats and his human caretakers. Harry could be adopted into a home where the people understood his special needs. But he is also fine to stay here in the place he calls home as well.
