Elsie was born here at the farm in 2013 after her pregnant mom was found abandoned in a carrier in our barnyard. She was adopted out a couple of months later. In May 2017, Elsie was returned to us when her person moved and couldn’t take her with her. This was very difficult for Elsie and she was very shaken by losing her home. But slowly she has begun to let us in to her world a little more. She clearly has appreciated us giving her the space to heal and regroup without our pushing her to do things she is not ready to do. Elsie is a wonderful cat and we hope at some point she can find a home of her own again. Until then, she has a place here with us for as long as she needs.
