Dax was born in 2014 and came to the farm in the fall of 2016 after he had been found hit by a car. Dax suffered a fractured pelvis that caused nerve damage to his back end. He had to have his tail amputated as he could no longer use it. Dax healed well from the injuries and thankfully ended up with full bowel and bladder control. However, while hospitalized, it was discovered that Dax has a significant heart problem which is most likely congenital. Dax will need to be monitored closely and be on medications for the rest of his life. He is a wonderful loving cat who doesn’t let things get him down.
