Chicken – Goldie

Goldie is estimated to have been born in 2017 and came to the farm in the fall of 2021 after she had been attacked by a fisher. It is a miracle that she even survived. Several of her other chicken friends were killed by this predator. Her human caretakers wanted her to be safe and she also needed healing time to recuperate from her injuries. We took her in our sanctuary and she healed and was then accepted by the other hens.
