Chee Chee was first adopted out as a young kitten but then was returned in the past month because her person could no longer financially support her. However, it was clear to all of us that Chee Chee chose her next home. It was love at first sight as she wrapped her arms around her new person's neck and adopted her!

Khana and his adopterKhana went to fill his new home with holiday cheer and good old kitten energy. Khana and his littermates were born here at SFC. Their mother had been brought in as a severely emaciated stray. No one knew if she'd even survive but she did. And then much to our great surprise, she gave birth to healthy kittens. We could have never guessed that she was pregnant but she gave all she had to bringing these kittens into the world.

Lorganna and Scarlet with their new familyLorganna and Scarlet both got adopted together by a wonderful family. They will both be loved and cherished and be great friends with the children in the family as well. We apologize for the poor quality photo but the cats kept moving and it caused the kids to move and a blurry photo. We are very excited for these two wonderful cats.

Noella in new homeSqueeks (now Noella) was given a most amazing Christmas present - a new home. Squeeks came to us with a group of 7 cats when their person fell on very hard times and could no longer keep them. She is very shy, which is why we do not have a photo of her with her adopters. Squeeks is the kind of cat that would normally be looking at living here at Spring Farm for her entire life. Painfully shy to the point of being semi-feral, she did not show well or interact well with visitors. We knew deep down that in a home she would have a chance to grow. But in our facility, try as we might to make it a home, there is far too much activity for a cat like Squeeks to get comfortable. But Squeeks was given the greatest gift of all - a second chance. People stepped up who wanted to adopt a second cat into their home and they were willing to see if they could be a healing place for Squeeks. We just received our first update from her adopters that Squeeks instantly took to their other cat and this morning she came out and greeted her new family by purring and rubbing up against their legs. Hooray for Squeeks!! And a big thank you to two very special people for giving her that chance to shine.

Devlin and adopterDevlin found his forever home where he can now be loved and cherished. Devlin was one of 13 cats found stuffed in boxes and left on the side of a road. When a passer-by drove past and noticed one of the boxes moving, she pulled over to discover them full of cats. She loaded them in her car and brought them to an already over-crowded SFC. However, they had no where else to go, so we took them in. We are thrilled for Devlin.

Havar and adopterHavar went to his new home. Havar was born here at the farm when his emaciated mother was brought in as a stray. We didn't even know she would survive she was so thin and weak. But Twiggy did survive after quite a struggle and then surprised everyone that she was pregnant. What was even more amazing was that the kittens were healthy. Havar was a bit camera shy as he was just so interested in everything going on in the cat rooms behind him.

Tink and adopterTink went to his new home today. Tink had been found as a stray in horrible condition and the people brought him here. He was emaciated and in very bad condition. But the people who found him fell in love with him and once he was deemed healthy enough for adoption, they came back and took him home forever. Tink will never have to know starvation again.

Jackson and adopterJackson's adoption has been finalized. Jackson is all action. He was found running down a highway by a good samaritan who then dropped him off at our farm. We thought for sure someone was looking for him and that he had slipped out of someone's house. But much to our amazement, after trying diligently to find his home, no one came forward. He was only 12 weeks old at the time. Now Jackson will not have to know being homeless again. He is loved and adored in his new home. And no doubt keeping everyone on their toes!

Lilly and Herman with their adoptorsLilly and Herman went home together! These two bunnies are so bonded and just adore one another. We didn't want to separate them and today someone adopted the pair to give them the space to live out the rest of their lives together. They were quite excited to go to their new home.

Bala with her adoptersBala went home today to her new forever home. Bala was born here at SFC when she and her litter mates surprised us. Their mother, Twiggy, was brought in as an emaciated stray and none of us had a clue she was pregnant. Miraculously all of the kittens were healthy, as is Twiggy now as well. We are sure Bala will have a great life with her new family.

Jill and her adoptorJill found her forever family today. Born here at the farm, after her pregnant mother was found as a stray and brought to us, Jill and seven litter mates have been playing and playing as they each waited for just their right person to come along. Jill can now be loved forever and provide her new family with lots of joy and laughter.

Loretta and adoptorLoretta found her wonderful forever home today. A little live wire, Loretta is sure to bring years of laughter to her new home. Loretta was one of 8 born in her litter when her mother was found as a pregnant stray and surprised us all with 8 little joyful kittens!

Narnia in her new homeNarnia now lives with a wonderful family and helps take care of the kids! You can see by the photos that she is well loved in her new home. Narnia was found walking up our driveway one day. We later found a box with holes poked in it on the side of the road. Evidently someone left her there hoping we would find her but she clawed her way out of the box and found her way to us. It looked like she had recently had kittens and several of us searched for quite a while up and down the road not knowing if the kittens had been in the box with her or not. We never found any. Now she will never have to go through an ordeal like that again.

SmuckersSmuckers went home with his new family! He was brought into our facility at just 2 weeks old, found abandoned. Now he can share his charming personality with a family who will treasure him.

Alita adoptionAlita found her forever home. She was the last of her litter to go and she was very lonely. So we put her in a pen with another single kitten named Smuckers. The two of them really hit it off. How happy we all were when both of them found their homes on the same day. Each with separate families but neither of them had to be alone again. Alita is sure to be a cherished member of her new family.

November 2009

CourageousCourageous went to her new home today. We are so thrilled for her. Courageous got her name because as a tiny kitten she was found screaming under someone's porch. Now she will know the safety and love of a wonderful home.

Honeycut adoptionHoneycut went to his forever home today. He and his two littermates were found with their mother scrounging for food in someone's backyard under their barbeque grill. We are thrilled to know he can now live in a loving home.

Kramer adoptionKramer found his new home today. He and his brother Honeycut came in together with a third sibling when they were found under someone's barbeque grill trying desperately to find food. Their mother was also with them. Now he will never have to scrounge for food again and can enjoy his kittenhood.

Wetmore adoption Wetmore found his new home today. Found as a stray out on the street, he called in his person quickly. We are thrilled to know that he will have a wonderful loving home and not have to be worried about being cold or lost again.
