SPRING FARM CARES

 ANIMAL SANCTUARY

 THE ANIMAL
SANCTUARY

Spring Farm CARES is home to about 250-275 animals, including 32 horses and ponies, goats, sheep, llamas, dogs, cats, rabbits, ducks, chickens, and a few exotic birds. Animals not adopted are guaranteed a home here for life. The dogs and cats live in rooms furnished like living rooms, enjoying as much of a “home” atmosphere as possible. We do not euthanize to make room for new animals, HOWEVER, when we are full, we are full and must turn animals away. With today’s animal overpopulation, we are always full.

The main thing that sets us apart from any other animal sanctuary in the entire world is that we are the World’s First Center for the Teaching of Interspecies Communication. We, and the 250 - 275 animals who live with us in the sanctuary, are teachers. This means that we and these animals – some of whom are Master Teachers – work together, pooling our talents in workshops, to help students re-member the telepathic skills with which they were born…the ability to telepathically communicate with everything in the Universe … a skill usually programmed out of each of us by the age of ten by a society which has also been programmed to believe that telepathy is hooey, and animals are stupid creatures with no hearts, spirits, emotions, or reasons to exist outside of their uses to Humankind. (And certainly, according to that excuse for wisdom, the rocks, trees, and streams cannot communicate. But there are some wonderfully articulate rocks at Spring Farm. And wait till you meet The God Tree.) At Spring Farm CARES we plug you back into the Universe.
